DESCRIPTION:Join our Referee clinic\nLearn how to officiate roller derby\nJune 7 – 10 – 2 PM (practice scrimmage at 1 PM) \nLunch and whistle included  \n$25 for the full session or $10 for just the scrimmage \nSIGN UP HERE\n \nAre you a hockey\, ringette\, or other sport referee looking to ref a unique sport? Are you interested in roller skating without the full-contact hits of roller derby? Or are you a derby player looking to better understand the rules? \nOur referee clinic will teach you refereeing basics and how to officiate the sport of roller derby.  \nRental roller skates or roller blades are available or you can learn on shoes for now.  \n  \nLow intensity roller derby scrimmage at 1 PM\, where rules and calls will be practiced. Open to all levels\, and roller derby players will have the opportunity to swap between playing and refereeing.  \n  \nEmail info@ncrd.ca for more information. \n
